Morgan Kruizenga
Owner, Artistic & Technical Director

Morgan
has achieved her ultimate dream of owning a premier salon and developing her own educational program for hairdressers at her salon in Berkley, MI.
Morgan’s training began with Aveda in mid 80’s. Soon after she joined the Toni & Guy Ambassador program, which gave her the opportunity to become platform artist and a Regional Educational Director for the Midwest. In 1999 she helped launch the New York Madison Avenue Salon advancing to an Art Director for the company. She has also trained with multiple companies such as, Vidal Sassoon, Shu Uemura, Zgat, Kerastase, L’Oreal, Davines, Mahogany, and Alfaparf Milano. Upon returning to Michigan, Morgan created a very successful education program for future stylists and current stylists honing their craft to master the art of hairdressing. She is extremely excited to be implementing a fast-track system she created for her new salon, Chemistry.
Dedicated to educating the next generation of hair stylists Morgan says “I have always situated myself to work closely with my mentors, so I am always learning! I will always be passionate to share knowledge with my peers.”

Hannah Fettig

Hannah
has thrived in artistry throughout her life. Inspired by watching hair stylists early on, she quickly found her passion. She became a licensed cosmetologist at 18 years old. Having attended college courses in science and art, Hannah is passionate in the balance of beauty, sustainability and the environment.
Some of her passions have included bridal up styles, makeup artistry, waxing and nails. Hannah recently moved to the Metro Detroit area in search of working at her dream salon finding Chemistry Salon as her home.
She has trained with companies such as Pulp Riot working backstage, Davines, Micheal Polsinelli with Fusion Methodology and Loreal Pro. Hannah is currently a Tech Level 3 and continues to master techniques through our Chemistry Lab Education.
She welcomes her clients with a modern, graceful experience of blending education and artistry.

Valerie VanSlambrouck

Valerie
is a graduate of Michigan College of Beauty. We are excited to share our expertise with her as she begins her journey through the education program at Chemistry Salon.
She is very ambitious and looks forward to expanding her knowledge base and developing her techniques. She has received in house education, Davines education and has attended multiple classes taught by global educator Michael Polsinelli. We are very proud to be working with such a creatively driven young talent.
Valerie is currently working as a Tech Level 2 and growing with the salon in leaps and bounds.

Quillian Kruizenga
Apprentice

Quillian
is an apprentice at Chemistry Salon. She is currently getting her education through our in-house program to become a licensed cosmetologist.
During her 2 year apprenticeship, she is committed to the highest level of education and daily hands on experience at Chemistry Salon. She is learning all aspects of the salon while assisting our top notch stylists. Keep an eye out for another one of our future stylists!
